7 1/2' Nylon Game Rein with Braided Leather Grip

Game day and gymkhana runs put real pull on a rein, so this one is built from 3/4 inch nylon that takes mud, sweat and rain and still feels the same in your hand at the end of the day. The braided leather grip gives you something solid to hold when your horse leans into a turn and your hands are slick.

Nickel Conway buckles let you set the rein and move it between bridles without hunting up a tool, and the scissor snap on one end unclips so the whole thing works as a lead on the walk back to the barn. One piece of tack for the arena and the gate. Made in the USA.

Good to know

• Clip the scissor snap to a halter and it works as a lead for the walk from the barn to the arena.
• Wipe the nylon down with a damp cloth after a muddy ride, and work a little leather conditioner into the braided grip now and then so it stays supple.
• Carry a spare in the trailer. A chewed or frayed rein in the middle of a playday makes for a long walk home.

Toss a spare in the trailer before the next playday.
