ADAMS Plus Spot On is a quick‑drying, waterproof topical that kills fleas (all life stages), brown dog and deer ticks, and kills and repels mosquitoes for up to 30 days per application. It's for medium dogs 15 to 30 lb, 12 weeks and older, and one box contains three single‑use applicators for up to three months of protection.
The applicator is designed to reach the skin through the coat and the formula spreads with the dog's natural skin oils, starting to kill newly infesting fleas within 15 minutes after it has spread. The label lists active ingredients including etofenprox, pyriproxyfen and Piperonyl butoxide as a synergist; follow label instructions for safe application and disposal.
How to feed
Follow the label chart and adjust to maintain ideal body condition:
- Bend at perforation and tear off first tube.
- Hold tube upright and snap tip back, away from face and body.
- Dog should be standing for easy application. Apply evenly to four or five spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. At each spot, part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel a portion of the solution on the skin. Do not apply an excessive amount at any one spot.
- Do not spread by hand. Brushing the dog 12–24 hours after application will help distribute the material over the skin.
- Discard empty tube as described in Storage and Disposal.
