Bareback is the honest way to feel what your horse is doing under you, and this pad keeps it comfortable for both of you. The heavy-duty Herculon top shrugs off rain and sweat and resists mold and mildew, so a damp morning or a hard ride does not ruin it. A merino wool fleece girth keeps it comfortable, and the pad measures 21 x 35 in.

The loop handle gives you something to hold when you swing up. Good for a hot afternoon when a saddle feels like too much, or for a horse coming back into work.

Good to know

  • Brush off dried sweat and hair after each ride. The Herculon top wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the fleece stays softer when it is not packed with grit.
  • Let the pad air out away from direct heat before you fold it over a rail or tuck it in the tack room.

Ride out bareback on the next hot afternoon.
