CareFree Enzymes Poultry Protector

CareFree Enzymes Poultry Protector is a spray for poultry and their living areas. Manna Pro says it helps protect birds and coops from mites, lice, fleas and ticks, and helps reduce stress. It is described as all-natural and non-toxic, and as a safe alternative to harsh chemical treatments.

Use it on the habitat or directly on birds. The label advises against spraying birds under 10 days old, extremely old birds or debilitated birds, because getting chilled can add stress. Keep spray away from the eyes.

How to feed

Use the spray as directed on the label:

• Remove the bedding, then mist the entire habitat, including the top, sides and surrounding grounds. Put in new bedding before returning the birds.
• For best results on birds, make sure the spray coats the skin by moving the feathers aside or inverting the bird. Spray the chest, behind the head, under the wings and around the vent.
• Spray the habitat and surrounding grounds every other day during the first week, then once weekly. It can be used in living areas for poultry and fowl of all ages.
