Low-profile neoprene front-leg support boots with adjustable equal-length fetlock straps. Sold as a pair in the available color and size.
A front-leg support boot
The H20 is the front version of Pro Orthopedic’s sports support boot. Its low-profile neoprene construction wraps the lower leg, with equal-length fetlock support straps that let the fit be adjusted around the horse. That makes the model different from a simple splint boot or a bell boot worn around the hoof. Match the type of protection to the job before choosing a color. The H20R is the rear version and has different height, so a matching color alone is not enough to identify the correct boot.
Measure before choosing the size
Measure around the leg halfway between the knee and fetlock. The maker’s current sizing guidance places Medium at seven to eight inches and Large at eight to nine inches. Use an actual measurement rather than guessing from the horse’s height or the size of a boot from another brand. A horse can have a different leg shape from another horse of similar body weight. The chart is a starting point for selection; check the fit on the horse and follow the instructions supplied with the boots.
Choose the stocked color and size together
Color does not change the purpose of the boot, but it does identify the item being ordered. Read the full option, including its size, before selecting it. The original PRO color range includes the bright shades shown in its chart as well as neutral colors. A color chart describes the product family and does not promise that every color is in stock. These are the original Pro Orthopedic H20 model.
Keep the fastenings ready for the next ride
Hook-and-loop fastenings need clean contact surfaces to close properly. Check the straps and the neoprene when removing the boots, especially after work in sand or mud. The H20 dealer description lists the boots as machine washable, while another dealer recommends hand washing. Follow the care information that comes with the actual boots and avoid carrying a cleaning instruction over from a different material or model. Put the correct front boot back with its matching size so equipment is easier to check before the next use.
