Built for long days in the sun, this western straw hat gives you shade across the eyes and neck with a 4 1/4 inch brim. The bull crown sits tall and steady, and a swirling vent pattern lets air move through the crown, so you stay cooler while you work, ride or watch the arena.
The 7X jute straw holds its shape, and the leather sweatband keeps you comfortable from morning chores to the last class. A two-ply grosgrain band with a Bailey Western spur pin finishes it clean.

What it's for
A straw hat is the first line of defense against the sun. Woven straw breathes, so it keeps your head more comfortable than a heavier hat on a summer afternoon, and the brim keeps the glare off your eyes at the arena, along the fence line or at the sale barn.
It suits anybody who spends a lot of time outdoors: a rider at summer shows, a rancher checking pasture, a hunter in early season, or a weekend cowboy at the rodeo. The vented crown and leather sweatband make it comfortable enough to wear all day.

How to use it
Measure your head with a flexible tape just above the ears, then choose the size that matches. If you land between sizes, go up for comfort, since a snug hat is more comfortable when it doesn't pinch.
Set the hat on your head and adjust the sweatband so the hat sits level. Lift it by the sides rather than the brim, and set it crown-down on a table or hook when you take it off so the shape holds.
Good to know
- Wear it with a clean shirt and jeans for town, or with chaps and a long-sleeve work shirt for the arena.
- Let a sweaty hat dry in the shade, then brush off dust with a soft brush and store it crown-down or on a rack to keep its shape.
- Don't wash the straw. Brush off hay and dust, and let a damp hat dry away from direct heat.
- Keep the hat out of a hot truck dash, where the heat can warp the brim.
- Pair it with a pearl-snap shirt and a leather belt for a show day, and the hat does the rest of the work.
