Seniority Low NSC is an ultra-low NSC (10%) complete feed formulated for horses of any age that need a very low sugar and starch diet. It suits horses with insulin resistance, PSSM Type 1, other metabolic sensitivities, hyperactive horses, or those that require partial or full hay replacement.
The formula includes Uptake Technology® (prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, digestive enzymes and phospholipids) to support nutrient absorption and Constant Comfort® seaweed-derived calcium to help maintain healthy gastric pH. The feed is corn-, oat- and molasses-free and contains higher fiber for forage replacement when needed.
How to feed
Follow the label chart and adjust to maintain ideal body condition:
- Feed 2 or more meals per day.
- Do not exceed 5 lb per meal (4 lb for ponies, 6 lb for draft horses).
- Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in quality forage (hay/pasture) daily. (ex. 1,000 lb horse needs 15 lb of forage per day, minimum).
- Be sure clean water is available at all times.
