Wholesome Blends Balancer fills nutrient gaps in a forage-based ration without soy. It suits horses with soy allergies and easy keepers that need essential nutrients at a low feeding rate. Whole seeds and vegetables give this textured feed its distinctive blend, while low sugar and starch suit horses with metabolic sensitivities.
Reach for it when hay is doing the heavy lifting and you want to cover what hay does not carry. Feed it to idle, breeding, growing and performance horses, or top-dress it over another Tribute feed to supply additional vitamins, trace minerals and amino acids. Prebiotics, probiotics, beet pulp and sweet potatoes round it out in favor of digestion.

The feeding directions printed on some packages of Balancer are incorrect. We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Please utilize our feeding rate calculator or contact our team to determine the correct feeding rate for your horse.

We recommend 2 or more meals per day. Do not exceed 5 lb per meal (4 lb for ponies, 6 lb for draft horses).
Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in quality forage (hay/pasture) daily. (ex. 1,000 lb horse needs 15 lb of forage per day, minimum).
Be sure clean water is available at all times.
