These cubes are for the mature horse that needs hay in a form easier to manage than long-stem forage, especially one that's sensitive to sugar and starch. Feed them alongside hay or pasture, or use them as a complete hay replacement.
The blend is mostly timothy hay, with beet pulp and balancing minerals, and no alfalfa, molasses or soy. Low starch and sugar suit horses sensitive to sugar and starch, and horses on a careful diet. For older horses, poor teeth or a horse prone to choke, soak the cubes in warm water to make a mash and offer them in a feed tub at ground level. If your horse has Cushing's, laminitis or insulin resistance, talk with your vet about where these cubes fit in the ration.

Other considerations
For older horses, horses with poor teeth or for horses prone to choke, cubes can be soaked in warm water to loosen and make a mash. It is recommended to offer in a feed tub, preferably at ground level.
Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Keep product fresh in cool, dry storage. Examine product daily. DO NOT use if old, moldy or contaminated with insects.
