Custom tooling usually comes with a custom price. This browband headstall gives you the hand-tooled look without it. The barbed wire pattern is cut deep into brown skirting leather, then oiled so the design shows up clean and dark instead of washing out. That makes it an easy pick for the horse you ride every day, the one you want looking sharp in the arena, or the trail horse that still has to earn his keep. The leather and tooling do the talking; you just buckle it on and go.

Good to know

  • Wipe off dirt and sweat after each ride, then condition the leather so the tooling stays crisp and the straps stay supple.
  • Hang it up or lay it flat instead of tossing it in a damp tack room; leather stays better when it can dry out.
  • Pair it with a breast collar and reins in the same leather tone for a finished look.

Get it on the horse before your next ride and skip the custom price.
