For the little cowgirl who wants a boot that keeps up with her, these light up with every step, stomp and jump. Built-in sensors trigger the light each time her foot comes down, so the boots are the first thing she shows off on the playground.
Cactus embroidery on a two-tone upper gives them a cowgirl look, and the water buffalo upper stands up to playground scuffs and barnyard dirt. The round toe and walking block heel give her steady footing, and the rubber sole flexes and grips slick floors and packed dirt. A removable Room 2 Grow orthotic adds an extra half size, so the pair lasts through one more growth spurt.

Why light-up boots win with kids
Kids who love to move want footwear that matches the energy. Light-up sensors turn a walk to the mailbox into a show, and that is a big part of why a child puts on a boot without a fight.
Kids' boots have to do more than look good. They get kicked, dragged across gravel and worn in the rain, so the upper, the sole and the toe shape all matter. A water buffalo upper handles that kind of wear, and a rubber sole gives the traction a child needs on slick floors.
Who it suits: the little cowgirl who wants to be seen at school, at the barn or at her first rodeo, and the parent or grandparent who wants boots that will last through a growth spurt.

How to use it
Have her try them on with the socks she will wear, late in the day, and walk around the store. The toes should have a little room at the end, and the heel should not lift when she steps. Check the fit again at the start of each season.
When her toes start to crowd, take out the Room 2 Grow insole for an extra half size before moving up. Let her wear them for short stretches at first so she gets used to the feel and the light.
Good to know
- Pair them with jeans or leggings for school days, and with a rodeo dress or skirt for arena days.
- Wipe dirt off with a damp cloth and let the boots air out away from direct heat, so the leather stays supple.
- Check the fit at the end of the day, when feet are at their fullest, and pull the insole out for the extra half size before moving up.
- Pull the insole out to dry after a sweaty day, then put it back in once it is dry.
