Rig a young horse without fighting a tangle of straps. This training fork clips onto your breast collar or girth with a scissor snap and puts a pair of 1-3/4 inch rings out front for your reins, so you can hold a horse where you want him while he learns to steer.

The webbing is 1 inch wide and 48 inches long. Durable nickel plated hardware holds up to everyday riding, and a Conway buckle handles the girth end.

Highlights

  • Snaps onto breast collar or girth in seconds
  • 1-3/4 inch rings for smooth rein travel

Good to know

  • Clip it to the breast collar for a horse learning to steer, or to the girth when you want the fork to ride lower.
  • Wipe the nickel hardware dry after a wet ride so it stays bright and the scissor snap keeps working free.
  • Check that the scissor snap seats all the way before you mount, and keep a spare in the trailer for the day one gives out.

Keep one in the trailer so a lost fork doesn't cut a ride short.
