Flies, gnats and mosquitoes can turn a ride or an evening in the pasture into a fight. Opti-Force is ready to use straight from the bottle, so there is no mixing on a busy morning. Spray it on, and you get quick knockdown of the pests bothering your horse right then.
The formula is sweat- and weather-resistant, so it keeps working through a hard workout and after a rain. With up to 14 days of protection, you spend less time reapplying and more time riding.
Highlights
- Quick knockdown of flies, gnats and mosquitoes
- Sweat- and weather-resistant
- 14-day protection
- Ready to use, with no mixing
- For horses and ponies
Why choose a ready-to-use spray
A concentrate has to be mixed, measured and sprayed, and that is easy to get wrong on a hot morning. A ready-to-use spray skips the mixing. You grab the bottle, brush the coat and go. That makes it a good pick for a barn with several horses, a weekend rider, or anyone who wants fly protection that is easy to repeat.
Protection that holds through sweat matters on a summer trail. A sweat-resistant formula is built for the hot ride, when the horse is working and sweating. For a horse out in the pasture on a warm, damp afternoon, the weather-resistant formula keeps working after rain.

How to use it
Prepare the coat first, so the spray lands on clean hair.
- Shake well before using.
- Brush the horse's coat thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
- For a dirty horse, shampoo and rinse thoroughly, then wait until the coat is completely dry before spraying.
- Spray evenly over the horse, and keep the spray away from the eyes and mucous membranes.
- Keep the product away from food.
Good to know
- Spray in the barn or at the wash rack when you can, and keep the bottle out of the feed room.
- Pair it with a fly mask and a feed-through fly control for a fuller plan.
- Keep a bottle in the tack room so it is ready the minute the bugs show up.
Have fly protection ready before the next stretch of buggy days, so the ride starts on time.
