Chitosan-based pool clarifier that helps filtration capture fine particles and oily residue.
For fine particles the filter misses
A pool may remain dull after larger debris is gone because very small particles stay suspended or pass through the filter. Natural Clarifier uses chitosan-based chemistry to collect fine material, including oils, soaps, cosmetics, metals, and other particulates, so filtration can remove it. That makes it a different tool from a sanitizer. It does not replace chlorine or another sanitizer, and it will not correct a pH or alkalinity problem. Test and balance the water first.
Start with balanced water and clean media
Before adding a clarifier, check pH, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness. Use pH from 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity from 80 to 120 ppm, and calcium hardness from 250 to 300 ppm before treatment. Clean or backwash the filter according to its maker’s instructions. Dirty media can restrict flow and reduce the result, while chemistry outside range can keep cloudiness from resolving. Record the readings so you can tell whether the clarifier helped or a separate correction is still needed.
Let the filter do the work
The treatment is poured across the water surface with the filtration system running. It needs no premixing or dilution. Keep an eye on filter pressure during the run. Captured material can load the media, so clean or backwash when the pressure calls for it. This is why clarifier use is tied to the filter rather than being a quick visual fix. A cartridge, sand, or diatomaceous-earth filter all need their own cleaning routine. Follow that equipment maker’s method when service is needed.
Use it as maintenance, not a shortcut
Apply weekly to maintain water clarity. The routine works best when circulation is dependable and the sanitizer is already maintained. If water is cloudy after heavy use, a storm, or a chemistry swing, retest and address the underlying issue rather than increasing clarifier by habit. Use the dose based on pool volume and the current directions. Store the bottle cool and dry, do not allow it to freeze, and keep it away from strong oxidizers or bases.

Directions for use
- Using a good test kit, balance your pool water to a pH of 7.2 to 7.6; Total Alkalinity of 80 to 120 ppm; and Calcium Hardness of 250 to 300 ppm.
- Backwash or clean filter following manufacturer’s instructions.
- Usual dosage is 1 ounce of Natural Clarifier per 10,000 gallons of pool water. For severe cloudiness, the dosage may be doubled or tripled.
- Apply proper dosage of Natural Clarifier across the water’s surface with the filter system running. No premixing or dilution is required.
- Run filtration system for a minimum of 6 hours watching filter pressure. Clean or backwash filter as necessary.
- To maintain the water’s sparkling clarity, apply Natural Clarifier every week.

FIRST AID: Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice if irritation occurs. Skin or clothing: Cleansing the skin after exposure is advisable. Inhaled: If large amounts of fumes are inhaled, remove to fresh air and consult a physician. Swallowed: Consult a physician if necessary. Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment.
