Pool flocculant that settles suspended debris so it can be vacuumed out.
Some pool cloudiness comes from particles too fine for ordinary filtration to catch quickly. A flocculant gathers those particles into heavier material that settles on the floor, where it can be removed with a vacuum set to waste. This is different from a sanitizer. It does not replace chlorine or another approved sanitizing routine, and it is not a cure for every cause of cloudy water. Check the water and filter first so you know whether suspended debris is the problem.
Bring pool pH to 8.0 before treatment. This is a preparation value for the flocculation step. Check pH with a reliable test kit and use the usual pH product directions to make any correction. The flocculant does not change pH, so it will not correct a separate balance problem. If the pool is cloudy because of poor circulation, dirty media, or sanitizer trouble, fix that condition as well.
After the flocculant has circulated, the pump is stopped so the gathered material can sink without being stirred back into the water. Leave the pool alone during that settling period. The result is a concentrated layer on the bottom, which makes cleanup more deliberate than running the normal filter and hoping it captures everything. Use a vacuum setting that sends debris to waste or drain, not back through the filter. This requires a system with that option and enough water to manage the loss.
Once the settled debris is removed, clean or backwash the filter before returning to routine circulation. If new debris enters the water, settling can continue and another cleanup may be needed. Avoid swimming while the water is being treated or while visibility is poor. Keep the pool chemical container closed, follow its directions in order, and do not mix concentrated pool products together. A clean filter and a stable sanitizer routine help prevent a short-term clearing treatment from becoming a substitute for basic pool care.
High-cationic coagulant solution for swimming pool water. It settles fine suspended debris for removal by vacuuming to waste.
