Good to know

• Hang the bit by its rings to dry so the mouthpiece doesn't sit in a puddle in the tack room.
• Pair it with a bridle that fits your pony's head so the rings sit where they belong.
• Check the mouthpiece for nicks or rough spots whenever you clean it, and replace it if you find any.

Keep a spare bit in the tack trunk for the day one goes missing.
