The webbing is triple-ply nylon, an inch wide, stitched with a box and cross where the pull lands hardest. Buckle holes are heat sealed and reinforced, so the tongue slides in clean instead of tearing through a frayed hole halfway through the season.
The chin adjusts, so you can snug it on a young horse and let it out as he fills out, and the throat snap means you can halter up without dragging webbing over his ears. Heavy-duty malleable iron hardware holds up to real use, and the whole halter is made in the USA.
