Roper Style Harness Leather German Martingale

A German martingale gives you a way to school head position without hauling on your horse's mouth, and this one is built for everyday work. The 1/4" nylon rope runs through the bit rings and snaps onto the variable positioning dees on the roper reins, so you set how much give the horse has and change it as he comes along. Flexion at the poll comes from steady, even pressure instead of a jerk.

Russet harness leather measures 5/8" wide by 93" long. Good for starting colts, tuning a finished horse, or reminding one that has gotten handy about where his face belongs.
