A concentrated 30% acetic acid cleaner with manufacturer dilution guidance for household cleaning tasks.
A concentrated cleaner
Sanco Natural Vinegar is a 30% acetic acid concentrate for home and garden cleaning. That strength is far more concentrated than kitchen vinegar, so choose the dilution for the job and protect your skin and eyes while handling it. For regular cleaning, mix one part vinegar with five parts water. For heavy-duty cleaning, mix one part vinegar with two parts water. Do not pour the concentrate into an appliance or onto a surface unless its care instructions permit it.
Use the right mix for routine cleaning
A 1:5 dilution suits the general cleaning work listed for mineral and lime deposits, tool rust, glassware, coffee stains, soap scum, grime, floors, and grout. For a tougher cleaning task, the 1:2 dilution uses less water per part vinegar. Start with the regular mix when the surface and task allow it. Avoid assuming that a stronger solution is better: some metals, finishes, seals, and appliance parts may be sensitive to acid. Check the surface maker’s care instructions before treating a material you have not cleaned before.
For mildew, water spots, and glassware
For mildew or grime on tile, a tub, or a shower, apply undiluted vinegar, wipe the area, and rinse with water. On shower doors, spray full-strength vinegar on water spots before showering, then squeegee the glass when finished. Cloudy glassware can be wrapped with a paper towel soaked in full-strength vinegar; leave it for several hours before cleaning. Keep the concentrate away from skin, eyes, and nearby surfaces that could be damaged by acid. Use gloves, long sleeves, and eye protection.
Laundry and pet-cleanup uses
To restore white clothing, soak it in full-strength vinegar overnight, then wash it the next morning. For a pet accident, blot the area first and apply a 1:2 vinegar-and-water solution. Blot until mostly dry, sprinkle baking soda over the area, let it dry, then vacuum the residue the next day. These are distinct methods: the laundry use is full strength, while the pet-cleanup solution is diluted. Test an inconspicuous spot when fabric or flooring care is uncertain.
Follow appliance directions and ventilate
For a coffee maker, run one cycle with one cup of vinegar in the reservoir, then run at least two water-only rinse cycles. Always follow the appliance owner’s manual. Full-strength vinegar is also listed for soaking adhesive before peeling it away. This 30% concentrate has a strong odor; wear a mask when using it undiluted and do not use it in an unventilated confined space. Wear gloves, long sleeves, and eye protection. If it enters the eyes, rinse cautiously for several minutes and call a poison center or doctor. Store it closed in its original container, away from direct sun and incompatible chemicals.
