Built for the daily work around the barn: catching, leading, lunging and groundwork. The No. 95 is one continuous piece of rope, so there is no hardware to rust, rattle or break when a horse leans on it.

The 5/16 inch polypropylene rope has a medium-firm feel, and it is pre-stretched so the knots stay put and the halter keeps its shape. It shrugs off rot, mildew and abrasion, and it goes in the wash when it gets sweaty and dirty. Slip it under your bridle when you ride, or keep it handy for groundwork and lunging.

How to use it

Set the fit before you lead:

  • Adjust the halter so the rope from the throat knot runs under or behind the jawbone, not outside the jawbone.

Good to know

  • Use it for groundwork and lunging, then leave it on under your bridle when you ride.
  • A medium-firm rope gives clear pressure without hardware to rattle or break.
  • Toss it in the wash after a sweaty day and let it dry so it stays ready.

Keep a spare on the gate before the next load-out; a halter with no hardware is one less thing to break.
