A western boot for the days that start in the barn and end in town. The full grain leather upper and leather lining stand up to stirrups, muck and long walks, and the medium round toe slides into a stirrup without a fuss.
The cushioned insole takes some of the sting out of standing on concrete, and a metallic shank supports the arch. The Vibram Chevron 700 outsole was developed for outdoor work and recreation, and it grips wet ground. The boot is made in the USA with global parts at the El Paso, Texas factory.

Why full welt construction matters
A full welt is built so the sole is sewn to the upper around the whole perimeter. That is the kind of construction a boot repair shop can take apart and resole, so a good pair can carry on after the sole wears down.
A cowboy heel is made for riding, with the stirrup in mind. The 1-9/16 inch underslung heel on this boot keeps the boot working in the saddle and gives a clean line on the foot.
Who it suits: the rider who spends a few hours in the saddle, the rancher checking water and fence on a long day, and the man or woman who wants a Western boot for church, dance nights and the sale barn.

How to use it
Try them on late in the day, with the socks you ride in. A western boot slips a little at the heel at first, so check that the toes have room and the heel holds steady when you walk.
Work the boots in around the house for a few evenings before a full day in the saddle. Use a boot jack or the heel of the other boot to pull them off, so the shaft keeps its shape.
Good to know
- These work with the jeans you already wear, tucked in for a sharp line or let over the shaft for a relaxed look. A plain Western belt and a good shirt finish the outfit.
- Wear a thin liner sock under a heavier one for riding, and check the fit with the sock you will actually wear.
- Wipe mud off while it is damp, let the leather dry at room temperature, then work in a little conditioner so the leather stays supple.
- Keep the boots away from heaters and direct sun after a wet day. When the sole wears down, a shoe repair shop can resole full welt boots.
