When one eye goes red and watery, you want to flush it right away, not wait to get started. Vetericyn Antimicrobial Pink Eye Spray is a pH-balanced hypochlorous acid solution made for livestock eyes with conjunctivitis, pink eye, abrasions or irritation. It is designed to treat and relieve eyes with conjunctivitis and other eye irritations, and it flushes away foreign material as it goes.
The spray contains no antibiotics, has no withdrawal period, and is safe for food-producing animals. It comes with a stream setting, so you can place the solution directly into each eye and let the animal blink.

What it's for
Pink eye spreads quickly through a herd or a pasture of young stock, and flies make it worse. The first job is keeping the eye clean and clear of discharge, which is exactly what a flushing spray is for. A sprayer that puts a stream straight into the eye is easier on a nervous animal than a rag and a bowl of water, and it is quicker when you have a whole group to check.
This is for the rancher who walks the herd each morning, the goat keeper who notices a squint at feeding time, and the 4-H family that wants a flush ready before the vet calls back.

How to use it
Work calmly, and let the animal blink between sprays:
- Set the nozzle to the stream setting.
- Wipe away excess matter that has collected in the corner of the eye.
- Spray directly into each eye, angled slightly downward toward the nose to flush, and let the animal blink.
- Spray again directly into the eye, and allow the animal to blink.
- Repeat in the other eye, even if no irritation is present.
- When possible, repeat these steps twice daily until the condition has cleared up.
- If the condition persists or worsens, consult your veterinarian.
Good to know
- Keep a bottle in the barn first-aid kit so you can flush an eye before the vet arrives.
- Skip any antibiotic cream or eye ointment before the spray. If you use one afterward, wait at least 60 seconds after this spray.
- Don't pour it into another bottle. Transferring it is not recommended, because the solution can be neutralized by a new container's materials.
- A frozen bottle can thaw and still work. Look for leaking or collapsed walls, which mean it froze.
- The spray has a faint chlorine smell, which is normal and not enough to sting.
Pair it with a fly control plan, since flies are one of the ways pink eye spreads through a herd.
