The Roll Snug buckle is cast stainless steel rather than welded, so it is one smooth piece with no seam to catch or wear, and it gives you real leverage when you pull the latigo. The shaped tongue has a hooked tip that keeps your latigo locked where you put it instead of creeping back down halfway through a ride.

Against the horse it is a breathable half inch wool blend natural felt bottom over black poly webbing, for comfort and reliable performance. A nylon holder keeps your off billet where you can reach it. Ranch, roping or trail, it cinches the same way.
