Working Tack Leather Noseband

This is the noseband you put on the horse that works for a living. Heavy harness leather, dipped in oil and dressed with butter, then hand rubbed so it comes up a rich golden chestnut and feels worked in from the first ride.

It rides on a 1/2 inch crown strap, and the stainless steel hardware stands up to mud and wash water without rusting. Hang it on the bridle you ride every day.

• Wipe off sweat and dirt after each ride, then work a little leather conditioner in so the leather stays soft and the stitching holds.
• Check the buckles and keepers before you saddle up.
