How we can help you choose a bag

Tell us the animal and roughly how many you feed and we’ll point you to feeds that match the class of animal and your feeding plan. For example, calf creep feed is the bag you reach for when you’re creep-feeding nursing calves; layer crumbles are what you choose for laying hens. If a particular feed is out of stock we can suggest a nearby substitute or take your number for a restock notice.

If you want a quick comparison at the counter, bring the tag from what you’re feeding now. We can compare guaranteed analysis, form and feeding rate and help you decide whether to switch.

A few shopping tips

• Call ahead for large orders or bulky items so we can have your truckload ready.
• Check bag size and price on the tag — we list bag size and price on the shelf tag and on the product pages online.
• If you have an animal with a health issue, call your veterinarian before changing feed.
• Bring a trailer or boxes if you buy multiple 50 lb bags — we’ll help load when you get here.

We try to keep a useful selection on the floor so you can get what you need without an extra trip. If a product page is listed as out of stock online, a phone call will save you a wasted drive — and if you want something special, we can order it.
