A spray line is only as good as the hose feeding it. This 1/2 inch EPDM hose carries spray from the tank to the wand, and it's sold by the foot, so you cut the run you need instead of buying a coil you won't use.

EPDM rubber handles water and agricultural sprays mixed with water, and this hose is rated at 200 PSI. That rating is the number to check against your pump, so the line stays within its limit on every pass. It's a general-purpose line for everyday spraying, from the garden and yard to pasture work.

Highlights

  • EPDM hose for water and water-mixed agricultural sprays
  • Rated at 200 PSI
  • 1/2 inch size for spray lines
  • Sold by the foot, so you cut the length you need
  • General-purpose line from tank to wand

Why EPDM for spray lines

EPDM is a synthetic rubber that holds up well to sunlight, ozone and weather, which is why it's a common choice for outdoor lines. A spray hose gets handled every time you spray, so a line that stays flexible and doesn't crack in the sun saves you from a stiff, leaky hose in the middle of a job.

The hose fits the jobs a sprayer can't avoid: the run from the tank to the gun along a fence line, the reach across a pasture edge, and the line to a yard or barn wash-down. It suits the homeowner with a tank sprayer, the cattle operation with a pump and wand, and the hunter who sprays a food plot or a pasture edge each season.

How to use it

  1. Measure the run from the tank or pump to the wand or gun, and add a few feet at the end for reach.
  2. Match the hose to your fittings and clamp it on every barb, so the hose stays put under pressure.
  3. Keep the system at or below the 200 PSI rating of the hose.
  4. Flush the line with clean water after each spray job, then drain it before storage.

Order by the foot, and cut to length once the run is set.

Good to know

  • Keep the hose out of direct sun when it isn't in use, and coil it loosely so it doesn't kink.
  • EPDM isn't built for fuel or petroleum oils, so keep fuel and oil away from the spray line.
  • Pair it with a spray gun or wand, hose clamps and barb fittings from the same aisle to finish the setup.

Measure the run and order the length now, so the next spray day starts on time.
