A worn hose connection is a leak waiting to happen. Vibration, bending and years of chemical rinsing wear down the fitting, and once it weeps, you lose pressure and product. This male pipe thread to poly hose barb fitting is an OEM replacement part, built from corrosion-resistant polypropylene to join sprayer hose and tubing.
It has a 1/2 in male pipe thread and a 1/2 in hose barb, and it fits FIMCO Pro Series 50 gallon trailer sprayers and FIMCO Pro Series handguns. When the fitting you have is worn, this is the part that gets the line back to holding pressure.
Highlights
- Corrosion-resistant polypropylene
- 1/2 in male pipe thread to 1/2 in hose barb
- OEM replacement part
- Fits FIMCO Pro Series 50 gallon trailer sprayers and handguns
- Covered by a 1 year consumer or 90 day commercial warranty
What it's for
Hose connections see more wear than most parts on a trailer sprayer. Every time the hose is coiled, pulled and clamped, the fitting takes a little stress, and a worn barb can let go under pressure at the worst moment. Swapping a worn piece early keeps the rig spraying clean and keeps you out of the field with a puddle under the trailer.
It's the right piece for an owner of a FIMCO Pro Series trailer sprayer or handgun, a farm or ranch that sprays pasture and fence lines each season, and anyone who needs a dependable poly connection in a sprayer line. Have the old fitting in hand to match the thread and barb.

How to use it
Swap the fitting in a few steps.
- Relieve pressure and drain the tank and hose before you remove the old fitting.
- Wrap the male threads with PTFE thread seal tape, thread the new fitting in by hand, and add a snug turn with a wrench.
- Push the hose onto the barb and clamp it.
- Check for leaks with clean water before you spray any product.
Good to know
- Match the thread and barb to the old fitting before you buy, so the new one seats right the first time.
- Polypropylene can crack under too much torque, so tighten to snug and stop.
- Keep a spare on the shelf for the trailer sprayer and the handgun, since both see the same wear.
- Rinse the sprayer and drain it after every batch of chemical, which keeps the fittings clean and slows the wear.
- Pair it with spray hose, hose clamps and a shut-off valve for a complete line repair.
Have the replacement in hand before your next spraying job.
