A sprayer boom takes a beating on every pass across rough ground. This square U-bolt wraps around the square boom tube and bolts through predrilled holes, so the parts it holds stay put. When an old U-bolt rusts, bends or strips, the boom starts to shift, and this OEM replacement puts the connection back where it belongs.
It fits FIMCO 4, 5 and 7 nozzle booms with 1 inch square tube, and it is made from galvanized steel for strength and durability. A loose boom wears the parts around it, so swapping a worn U-bolt early costs far less than repairing what it damages.
Highlights

- Fits FIMCO 4, 5 and 7 nozzle booms with 1 inch square tube
- OEM replacement part
- Galvanized steel for strength and durability

What it's for
Use it when a U-bolt is rusted, bent or stripped, or when you are servicing the boom mount before a busy season. Doing it before spray day keeps you from stopping in the middle of a field.
It suits the sprayer owner spraying a lawn, a pasture or a field edge, the groundskeeper who runs more than one sprayer, and the farm hand who keeps the rig ready for the next job.

How to use it
- Empty the tank, relieve the pressure, and shut off the sprayer before you work on the boom.
- Remove the worn U-bolt and its nuts, then check the boom tube for cracks or wear.
- Fit the new square U-bolt around the square tube and through the predrilled holes, and hand-tighten the nuts before you snug them evenly.
- Compare the new U-bolt to the old one before you finish the fit.
- Run water through the system and check the boom for movement before you spray.
Good to know
- Snug the nuts evenly, a turn at a time, so the U-bolt seats square.
- Check the U-bolts and nuts every time you service the sprayer.
- Keep a spare U-bolt in the shop so a broken part doesn't stop a spraying day.
- Pair it with 5/16-18 serrated flange hex nuts and the rest of the boom hardware from the same aisle.
