Give your cat a season of flea and tick protection without a monthly pill or a spot-on. The collar uses extended-release technology that moves the active ingredients onto the coat and skin, and it's water-resistant, so rain and a swim won't take the protection away.
It's built for the cat that climbs, hunts and squeezes through the fence. The breakaway snap releases if the collar catches on something, the strap adjusts, and the collar can be worn with a regular collar. It kills fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks and deer ticks, and it helps prevent new flea infestations.

Why choose a collar for your cat
A collar works around the clock with no dose to remember. For a cat that won't take a pill and runs from a spot-on bottle, it's the simplest way to keep protection going through flea season.
Fleas are a home and yard problem as much as a cat problem, so the collar does the most good when the rest of the place is treated too. Pick a collar for the outdoor cat, the barn cat that hunts the hay, or the cat that goes out with a dog and comes back with ticks.

How to use it
Keep the collar sealed until you're ready to use it. Then fit it loose enough to move around the neck.
- Unroll and stretch the collar to activate it.
- Place the collar around your cat's neck and buckle it in place.
- Check the fit. Two fingers should fit between the collar and the neck, and a properly fitted collar snugly slides over the head when fastened.
- Leave 2 or 3 inches for adjustment and cut off the extra.
The collar starts killing fleas, ticks, and their eggs and larvae right away. Full protection against harder-to-kill ticks builds within a few days. Replace it every seven months for continuous protection. Under severe infestations, replace it more often, but not earlier than 5 months.
Good to know
- Only about 5% of fleas live on your pet, so use the collar with ADAMS home and yard products for complete pest control.
- Wetting won't impair the collar. Let it stay on for swims and rain.
- A kitten grows fast. Check the fit every few weeks, since the collar needs room to allow for growth.
- Mark the replacement date on your calendar when you put the collar on, so protection never runs out.
- The same line has a flea and tick spray and shampoo for the days you need more coverage.
