Drift wastes product and puts it where it doesn't belong. This air induction tip is built to manage drift without giving up coverage. It throws a flat spray at a 110 degree angle, and air induction builds larger droplets that hold together better in a light breeze, so more of the mix lands on the target.
It's an OEM replacement tip for FIMCO 257 Series booms. The polymer construction resists chemicals and wear, and the compact design helps prevent damage. When a tip is worn or chipped and the pattern goes uneven, a replacement gets the boom spraying again without rebuilding the whole line.
Highlights
- Air induction technology for better drift management
- 110 degree flat spray pattern
- Polymer construction for chemical resistance and wear
- Compact design helps prevent tip damage
- OEM replacement for FIMCO 257 Series booms
Why air induction
A standard tip throws fine droplets, and fine droplets get pushed around by the lightest breeze. Air induction tips pull air into the spray and make bigger droplets that fall where you aim them. That matters when you're spraying a fence line near a garden, a pasture edge next to a hay field, or a ditch bank close to a neighbor's crop.
It suits anyone running a FIMCO 257 Series boom who needs a tip replaced, a custom applicator working near sensitive areas, and a farm that wants fewer droplets blowing off target. Keep the right tip on the boom and the spray goes where the job needs it.

How to use it
Swap the tip with the boom off pressure.
- Relieve boom pressure and drain the line before you remove the old tip.
- Remove the cap and the old tip, then check the strainer and seal for wear.
- Seat the new tip in the cap and fit it back onto the boom.
- Run clean water and check the pattern and every connection for leaks before you spray product.
Good to know
- Spray pressure changes the droplets, so run the boom at the pressure the tip is meant for.
- Rinse the boom after every batch so dried product doesn't clog the tips.
- Keep a spare tip in the toolbox so a worn one doesn't stall a spray day.
- Walk the boom and look at the pattern across every tip at the start of the day.
- Pair it with quick caps, strainers and a pressure gauge to keep the boom running.
About TeeJet
TeeJet Technologies traces back to 1937, when Spraying Systems Co. was founded in a 600 square foot garage in Chicago. The TeeJet name comes from the distinctive tee shape of an early spray tip, and the company's single focus has been application technology ever since.
Replace a worn tip before your next spray day, and the boom goes back to work.
