Some jobs call for a knife in your pocket, not on your belt. This Small Stockman packs three blades into a folder that rides in a jeans pocket: the clip blade for multipurpose and detail work, the sheepfoot blade for carving and clean cuts, and the pen blade for light work.
The blades are Case Tru-Sharp stainless steel, a high-carbon steel that holds an edge longer than conventional steel and resists corrosion. The jigged brown synthetic handle gives your grip a secure place to sit, and at 2.63 inches closed and 1.1 ounces, the knife is light enough to carry all day.

Why a small stockman earns a pocket
A stockman does the most with the least. The clip blade covers everyday cutting, the sheepfoot gives you a strong point for whittling and trimming, and the pen blade handles the fine work. On a farm, one knife covers twine, tape, small carving and the chores you don't want to stop for.
It suits a rider who needs a blade at the fence, a gardener who trims vines and cuts tape, a hunter who needs a knife at camp, and a young person ready for a first real folder with an adult nearby. Because it's small and light, it's the knife you'll actually carry.

How to use it
Open each blade with a steady pull, and close it slowly toward the handle with your fingers out of the blade's path.
Cut away from your body and keep your hand clear of the blade. Use the clip blade for cutting, the sheepfoot for carving and the pen blade for light, detail work, so each one stays sharp for its job.
Wipe the blades dry after a job, especially after cutting wet or sticky material. Add a drop of light oil to the pivot now and then so the blades open smoothly.
Store it dry, in a pocket or a drawer rather than a damp truck console, so the stainless and the handle stay in good shape.
Good to know
- Pair the knife with a sharpening stone so the Tru-Sharp blades keep cutting clean.
- Carry it in the pocket you'll reach for, so it's there when a job pops up.
- Keep the receipt with the knife, in case the limited lifetime warranty ever comes into play.
