Chicks pile into corners when they're cold, startled or crowded, and that's when they get hurt. This kit's circular enclosure has no corners to pile into, so the chicks spread out around the warm spot instead of packing into one.
The washable, reusable corrugated plastic wall and stand make cleanup and reuse simple. A hook on the stand holds a Brooder Reflector Lamp, and the stand adjusts so you can raise the lamp as the chicks grow. Included cable ties let you lock the stand to the wall for added safety.

Why a round brooder keeps chicks safer
Corners are the danger in any brooder. Chicks crowd into them when they're chilly or startled, and the ones at the bottom of the pile can be crushed or smothered. A round enclosure removes the corners and lets the chicks move around the heat instead of piling up.
Height matters as chicks grow. A lamp at the right height keeps the warm spot where the chicks need it, and an adjustable stand lets you raise the lamp as the birds get bigger instead of rebuilding the setup.
Plastic is the right material for a kit you'll use more than once. The corrugated walls wash up and dry out, so the brooder can be cleaned between flocks and set up again next season.
It suits a small home flock. Assembled, the enclosure is roughly three feet across and sixteen inches tall, and it's suitable for up to 15 chicks, depending on breed.

How to use it
Set up the brooder before the chicks arrive, so the heat is steady on day one:
- Assemble the circular wall and stand.
- Hang a Brooder Reflector Lamp from the hook on the stand.
- Set the lamp height so it warms one side of the ring without the chicks crowding under it. Keep the lamp well off the bedding.
- Lock the stand to the wall with the included cable ties.
- Raise the lamp as the chicks grow, and wash the wall and stand between flocks.
Good to know
- Lay paper towels or a clean layer of litter under the ring for the first days.
- Check the lamp cord and bulb often, and keep the cord clear of the chicks.
- Keep a few spare cable ties in the drawer for repairs or new setups.
- Pair the brooder with a waterer base and a feeder base, so the chicks get food and water inside the same ring.
Move the chicks out to the coop once they're fully feathered and the coop stays warm enough.
