Hooves dry out fast. Summer heat, humidity that swings between wet and dry, and a few hard days on gravel all pull moisture out of the wall. Corona uses a lanolin formula that helps prevent drying and cracking, and the brush makes it easy to work into the coronet band and heel bulb.
It is made to support natural hoof growth and to enhance the color and texture of the hoof. It maintains moisture balance in all conditions, and it contains no pine tar, so it suits an owner who wants a dressing without pine tar in it.

Why dress hooves on a schedule
A dressing does its best work on a regular schedule, not as a single emergency coat. Regular use helps keep the wall from drying out, and it is the moisturizer your horse's feet need after a hot ride or a wet week.
It suits the owner with a show horse who needs a clean, bright hoof, the trail rider who is on gravel most weekends, and the backyard owner who wants healthy feet with less fuss. A dressing that goes on with a brush takes the chore out of the daily routine.

How to use it
- Mix well before using.
- Cleanse the hoof of debris and dirt.
- Apply with the brush, and massage the dressing into the coronet band and heel bulb.
- If hoof quality is poor, apply before exercise and bathing, and again after the horse cools out.
Expect gradual improvement. Hooves grow about a quarter inch a month, so regular use shows up over time rather than overnight.
Good to know
- Clean the hoof before every application. Dressing over packed mud seals the dirt in.
- Pair it with a hoof pick for cleaning before each use.
- Keep it with your grooming supplies, and work it in while the horse is tied up for the day.
- Apply before a bath or a wet pasture day, so the protection is in place when the water comes.
