Horse Fly Boots - Set of 4, Mesh, Breathable, UV Protection

Fly season is the season of stomping. Your horse stands in the shade switching his tail and pounding one hoof, and fly spray washes off and needs another coat before the day is out. These mesh fly boots cover the lower legs and stay on through turnout, so the flies have somewhere else to go.

The mesh lets air move, which matters in Florida heat, and the UPF 50+ material shades his legs from harmful UV rays. Built-in stays hold the boots upright instead of letting them sag down over the hoof. Hook and loop closures go on and come off in seconds, which you'll appreciate at the end of a long day.

At a glance

Good to know

• Put them on before morning turnout, while the dew is still on the grass and the flies are just waking up.
• Knock the hay and burrs out of the closures when you pull them off, and the hook and loop keeps its grip all season.
• Check the fit at the pastern: snug enough to stay up, loose enough that you can still slide a finger under the strap.

Pick up a set before the first big hatch and save your horse the stomping.
