A rubber dog toy that tips when nudged, holds a treat, and gives a dog a textured surface to chew.
A toy that tips instead of settling
The 5-inch Jolly Tuff Teeter has an off-balance shape that rocks and changes direction when nudged. A nose push can send it rolling away; a paw tap may turn it onto another side. That irregular movement gives a dog a simple chase problem without a long throw. Use a clear patch of floor so the toy can move freely, and start nearby to see how the dog responds.
Put a reward in the opening
The Teeter has a treat-stuffing option. Start with a small treat near the opening so the dog can find it quickly, then place it farther inside if the first round goes well. Avoid packing food tightly into the cavity. A reward that comes out with nudging or rolling gives the toy a food-search role; an empty Teeter can then be used for movement. Remove leftovers and rinse the opening after the session.
Raised rubber texture
The Teeter is made from thick natural rubber with raised surfaces. Those ridges create a different mouth feel from a smooth ball and are part of the molded toy, not add-on pieces. A dog can hold it, reposition it, or chew under supervision. The rubber is firm enough to keep its irregular shape as it rocks, while the raised areas give the dog more than one surface to mouth.
Choose a supervised use
The Teeter works as a chew toy, a treat toy or a solo-play chase toy. Choose one job for the session: food search when the dog wants a focused task, nudging for movement, or supervised chewing when it settles. Watch the surface while the dog uses it. Stop if it begins tearing or if a piece loosens. No toy is indestructible, so remove a damaged toy.
Read the movement on your floor
The Teeter’s motion depends on where it lands. On a clear hard floor it can travel farther; on a rug it may stop sooner. Set it away from stairs and tight gaps, then watch the first few nudges to see where it rolls. That helps you choose a safe play area and gives the dog room to follow its changing path without needing a long throw.
