A damaged hose end doesn't mean the whole hose goes in the trash. Cut off the damaged end, clamp this female coupling onto the fresh end, and the hose hooks back up to the spigot. The rest of the hose is still good, so why replace it?

The impact-resistant clamp and stainless steel screws hold the coupling on the hose. It is light duty and made for 1/2 inch hose. It is durable and reusable, so it stays on the shelf for the next end that needs it, and it comes with a 1-year warranty.

How to use it

Cut off the damaged end of the hose. Clamp the coupling onto the fresh end and tighten the screws.

Good to know

  • Cut the damaged end off square so the fresh end sits well in the coupling.
  • Keep the clamp and screws together if you ever take the coupling apart, since they are reusable.
  • Stainless steel screws resist rust, which suits a hose that lives outdoors.

Keep one in the shed so a damaged hose end does not cost you a watering day.
