Why a muck tub beats a bucket

How to load and empty it

Set the tub where the muck cart or the dump pile is close by, so you're not walking the load across the barn.

1. Fill it through the wide opening, a shovel at a time, and keep the load level so it's easy to carry.
2. Carry it by both handles, holding it close to your body.
3. Tip it out where it belongs, then hose the tub before the manure dries on the walls.

• Store it out of long stretches of direct sun, and let it drain before you stack it.
