You have a tank mixed and a fence line to spray, and the nozzle starts dribbling instead of misting. This kit gets your Solo manual sprayer back to a clean, even pattern without buying a new unit.

The brass body and cap hold up to repeated use, and the stainless filter screen catches grit before it reaches the tip. The nozzle adjusts, so you can dial the spray to the job. These are genuine Solo replacement parts with TeeJet compatible threads.

Highlights

  • Brass body and brass cap
  • Stainless filter screen catches grit before the tip
  • Adjustable nozzle for different spray patterns
  • Genuine Solo replacement parts with TeeJet compatible threads
  • Fits all Solo manual sprayers except 400-1G, 405-B, 405-N and one-hand models

Why the nozzle is the first part to replace

The nozzle decides how the spray looks, and it takes the most punishment. Grit in the mix, dried-on product and a worn opening all change the pattern. When the spray turns to a dribble, the nozzle is often the reason.

A brass nozzle with a stainless screen suits the homeowner who sprays shrubs, roses and fence rows, the farm crew that treats a fence line or feed area, and anyone who runs a Solo sprayer through a season of weeds and pests. A spare kit on the shelf saves a spray day when a tip plugs mid-job.

How to use it

Shut off the sprayer and release the pressure before you remove the nozzle. Unscrew the old parts, clean the threads, then fit the new nozzle body and cap by hand before a final snug with a tool.

Run clean water through the sprayer, adjust the nozzle to the pattern you need, and check the cap and body for leaks before you go back to the job. Keep the spray pointed away from people and pets.

Good to know

  • Rinse the screen out when you finish a tank, since grit left in it is what wears a nozzle out early.
  • Pair it with a clean rag and a small brush for the screen, and a bottle of clean water for the final flush.
  • Store the sprayer drained, so the nozzle and screen stay dry between jobs.

Pick one up before your next spray job, so a plugged tip costs you a minute instead of a morning.

About Solo

Solo has been building equipment since 1948, when brothers Hans and Heinz Emmerich designed a small two-stroke engine. In 1951 they developed an engine-driven backpack mist blower one person could operate alone, and that idea gave the company its name.
