A loose nozzle cap sidelines the whole boom. Tips drift out of position, the pattern shifts, and you end up stopping every few rows to tighten what should have stayed put. This OEM replacement cap holds the spray tip and strainer on the nozzle body, so each tip stays where it was set.
Grooves in the cap fit the locating lugs on the nozzle body, so the tip lines up on its own when you twist the cap on. It's built for the TeeJet tip families this cap is sold with, including XR, TT, DG, TP, TTJ60 and AIXR, so the cap matches the tips already on your boom.

- Holds the spray tip and strainer on the nozzle body
- Fits FIMCO 4, 5 and 7 nozzle booms with QuickJet nozzle bodies
- Self-aligning grooves fit the nozzle body lugs

Why a replacement nozzle cap matters
Spray tips are small, and so are the caps that hold them. When a cap cracks or loses its seat, the nozzle moves, and the pattern goes wrong across the boom in ways you can see in the field. Replacing the cap puts the tip back in line, so each nozzle sprays the way it was set.
It suits the farmer running a FIMCO boom with 4, 5 or 7 nozzles, the custom applicator with TeeJet tips on the boom, and the owner who keeps a spare or two on the shelf for the first cap that gives out. Check that your boom uses QuickJet nozzle bodies before you order, so the cap fits the boom in front of you.

How to use it
- Check that the boom uses QuickJet nozzle bodies.
- Turn off the pump and relieve the pressure before you remove the cap.
- Take off the damaged cap, set the tip, strainer and seat gasket in the new cap, and twist it onto the nozzle body until it locks.
- Run clean water and check each nozzle for drips and a clean pattern before you spray chemical.
Good to know
- Check the gasket each time you change tips, and replace it if it looks flattened or torn.
- Keep the tip family and the cap matched, so the cap seats the way it was designed to.
- Pair it with the matching tips and tip bodies from the same aisle when you're refreshing a boom.
