Some horses lose their head the moment the trailer pulls out or the show clothes come on. Total Calm & Focus is an oral paste you give about two hours before the event. It is designed to help a nervous horse settle, and it is made for showing, sales prep, racing, hauling and training, for horses and ponies of all ages.
The formula centers on Ramisol, which supports normal cortisol levels. Cortisol is the stress hormone released in response to high intensity exercise and stimulus. Magnesium and a balanced blend of B vitamins are added to the mix, and there are no herbs and no banned substances. Give one syringe by mouth, and go to two when your horse needs more.

Why choose a calming paste for show day
A horse that is tense at a show, on a long haul or in a new arena can use up his energy and lose focus before you have asked for anything. A paste is easy to give by mouth and doesn't need mixing into feed, which matters on show morning when everything else is pressing.
It suits the horse who jigs in the warm-up, the young horse on the first trailer ride, and the trail horse who spooks at the next stop. Keep one in the trailer and one in the tack trunk, and the dose is ready wherever the day takes you.

How to use it
Dose by mouth ahead of the event:
- Give 1 syringe by mouth 2 hours before the event.
- The dosage may be increased to 2 syringes.
- Give it at the same point before each event, so the routine stays consistent.
Good to know
- Keep a syringe in the tack trunk and another in the trailer, so show morning isn't spent hunting for one.
- Plan the timing from the warm-up. Two hours ahead means the dose has time to work before you saddle up.
- A nervous horse does better on a steady program, so keep him in consistent work alongside the paste.
- Even with no banned substances in the formula, check your association's rules before you show.
Good turnout, a quiet trailer ride and a calm barn routine help the paste do its job.
