A 100 mL injectable B-complex vitamin supplement for cattle, swine, and sheep, labeled by Aspen Veterinary Resources.
A labeled B-complex supplement
Vita-Jec B Complex Fortified is a sterile aqueous injection labeled as a supplemental source of B-complex vitamins for cattle, swine, and sheep. Aspen’s product catalog lists the 100 mL bottle under item 14060606. Each milliliter contains thiamine hydrochloride, niacinamide, pyridoxine hydrochloride, d-panthenol, riboflavin as riboflavin 5’-phosphate sodium, and cyanocobalamin. The bottle is one size in a maker line that also includes larger packages. Check the size before ordering so the bottle on hand matches the quantity needed for the farm’s veterinary plan.
Use the product label as the authority
This is an injectable animal drug. The label recommends intramuscular administration and says subcutaneous or intravenous use is at the veterinarian’s discretion. It lists suggested amounts by species and body weight, and says repeat use may be made as indicated. Those directions depend on the animal and its condition. Read the package label and have the veterinarian decide whether this product, route, and amount fit the animal. This page does not replace that label or establish a diagnosis.
Know the precautions
The label reports hypersensitivity reactions after parenteral administration of products containing thiamine and directs that the product be administered with caution, with treated animals kept under close observation. It says to keep the product out of children’s reach, protect it from light, and store it at controlled room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Check the bottle and package before use, and follow the lot and expiration details printed on the container. The captured label does not state a withdrawal period.
Regulatory label status
DailyMed lists this product as an over-the-counter animal drug and identifies the 100 mL vial as NDC 46066-206-04. Its notice also says FDA has not found the drug safe and effective and has not approved the labeling. That wording is part of the official listing and should remain clear when evaluating the product. Ask a veterinarian about the animal’s needs and label use, especially when the animal is intended for food. Keep this 100 mL vial separate from other vitamin products so the package size and name remain easy to confirm.
