Two galvanized clamp sets for joining a compatible fence or kennel panel connection.
Measure the actual joint
These galvanized clamps are sold as two clamp sets with carriage bolts and nuts. Measure the tubing or panel profile where each set will sit, then compare the opposing rail or support. The listed 1-3/8-inch size is a starting point, not a substitute for checking the actual panel. Older kennel and livestock panels can use different tube sizes even when spacing looks similar. A clamp that rocks on tubing can shift; one that cannot close around the joint is the wrong fit.
Position before tightening
Set the two clamp halves square across the panel-to-support connection and hold the rails in final alignment. Start both carriage bolts by hand, then tighten each side gradually so the joint closes evenly. Stop if a half binds, the tube begins to flatten, or the panel twists. These fasteners join compatible parts; they do not strengthen a bent post or repair a cracked weld. Keep the opening and adjoining panel line aligned before tightening the last turns.
Keep the coating intact
The parts are galvanized steel, useful for an exposed fence or kennel joint. During assembly, avoid scraping the coating against concrete or forcing a mis-sized clamp over the tube. After the joint is set, look around the edges for chipped coating and places where water can sit. The coating helps protect steel from corrosion, though scratches and standing moisture still matter over time. Inspect after weather or heavy contact to catch a clamp that has started to rotate.
Check the surrounding run
A sound joint depends on the panels and posts beside it. Before returning an enclosure to use, inspect neighboring welds, post footing and the latch-side connection. Push gently near the clamp and watch for movement rather than treating tight bolts as proof the run is secure. Make sure no sharp edge or pinched gap is exposed. If the panel has shifted, loosen the clamp, realign the section and retighten instead of pulling the frame into place with the fasteners.
