Why worm puppies on schedule

Puppies pick up roundworms early, and a regular worming schedule is the simplest way to keep a litter on track. The puppy schedule runs at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks of age, and lactating females are treated 2 to 3 weeks after whelping. Keeping to those dates is the simplest way to stay ahead of the worms.

How to use it

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before every use, since the suspension separates.
2. Weigh the dog.
3. Dispense 1 teaspoon per 10 pounds of body weight, using the enclosed dispenser.
4. Give it directly into the bowl or mix it into food.
5. Puppies: treat at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks of age.
6. Lactating females: treat 2 to 3 weeks after whelping.
7. Adult dogs in heavily contaminated quarters may be treated at monthly intervals.

• Mix it into food for a dog that turns up its nose at medicine. The butterscotch flavor is made to go down easy.
