When arthritis or a sore joint makes your dog slow to get up, you want a dose that's easy to give. These liver-flavored chewables are made for that job: temporary relief of pain and inflammation tied to arthritis and joint problems in adult dogs 50 lb and under.
Each chewable has 120 mg of aspirin, and the tablets are formulated by veterinarians and made in the USA. Dogs tend to take a liver flavor willingly, which is half the battle when a pill would end up on the kitchen floor. The line carries the National Animal Supplement Council quality seal.

Why choose a chewable for joint pain
A chewable is the easiest way to get a dose into a dog that's stiff in the morning and fussy about everything else. Hiding a tablet in food works until the dog picks around it, and a liver-flavored chewable gives you a dose your dog sees as a treat.
Arthritis and joint problems tend to show up in older dogs, heavy dogs and dogs that run hard, and each one needs a plan built with a veterinarian. This product is meant for short-term use. It fits the dog with a sore hip that's slowing down on the walk, the working dog after a hard week, or the senior that won't climb into the truck on its own.

How to use it
Have your veterinarian examine or consult on your dog first. Give the dose with food, no more than 30 minutes after your dog has eaten at least half its normal daily amount. Dose by body weight:
- 6 to 11 lb: 1/2 tablet every 12 hours
- 12 to 24 lb: 1 tablet every 12 hours
- 25 to 50 lb: 2 tablets every 12 hours
Weigh your dog before you start. Do not go past three days in a row. If the pain doesn't ease in that time, call your veterinarian instead of starting another round.
Good to know
- Weigh the dog on a bathroom scale while you hold it, then subtract your own weight. The dose bands are wide enough that a guess near the edge of one can put you in the wrong row.
- Mark the days on the calendar so you don't cross the three-day limit by accident.
- Give the dose with a meal, within 30 minutes after your dog has eaten at least half its usual daily food.
- For a dog that needs joint support past a short course, ask your veterinarian about a longer plan. Nutri-Vet's Hip and Joint line is one option to ask about.
