Keep your horse moving through the work, the turnout and the show season with daily joint support. The formula carries 10,000 mg glucosamine HCl, 5,000 mg MSM and 1,200 mg chondroitin sulfate for mobility and connective tissue, plus 100 mg of vitamin C for antioxidant support. Together they help maintain joints and connective tissue in horses of all activity levels.

It is highly palatable, with anise flavoring and yeast culture, and mixes right into the daily ration. It is designed to complement Sho-Hoof and Sho-Glo, so a horse on a full performance routine gets a plan that fits together.

Why choose a daily joint supplement

A joint supplement earns its place in the feed room when a horse works on a regular schedule. Barrel racers, jumpers, trail horses and the older gelding that stiffens up after a cold night all put steady wear on their joints. A daily supplement keeps support in every feed instead of waiting for a stiff morning to remind you.

Glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin are the three ingredients many owners look for in a joint product, and a meal form fits a routine better than a pill a horse spits out. Daily supplements work best when they are the same every day, so a scoop by the feed bin beats a bottle in the tack room.

Sho-Flex suits the show horse in training, the ranch horse on a long week of work and the senior horse that needs steady support through the seasons.

How to feed it

Use the enclosed scoop and feed by body weight. Weigh or tape your horse first so you start in the right row, then feed the same amount every day.

  1. Less than 800 lb body weight: 1 1/2 scoops daily
  2. 800 to 1,200 lb body weight: 2 scoops daily
  3. More than 1,200 lb body weight: 2 1/2 scoops daily

Scoop by body weight, not by appetite, so each horse gets its daily amount. Keep fresh water in front of your horse while the meal is in the diet.

Good to know

  • Mix the meal into the regular ration so the anise flavoring blends in.
  • Keep the enclosed scoop in the bin so the daily amount stays consistent.
  • The glucosamine in this formula is shellfish derived and the chondroitin is porcine, which matters if you are feeding around a shellfish or pork allergy.
  • Use it with Sho-Hoof and Sho-Glo when you want a coordinated hoof and joint routine.
  • Keep a bucket on the feed shelf so joint support does not get skipped on busy mornings.
