For mature horses that need extra hoof support, Sho-Hoof adds biotin, methionine and chelated zinc to the regular grain and forage ration. Each 2 oz serving provides 20 mg of biotin, along with methionine and chelated zinc, in a feed that horses readily eat.
Omega-3s and amino acids support a shiny coat and healthy skin, so one daily feeding brings several useful nutrients into the routine. It is highly palatable and easy to feed, and it works alongside Sho-Flex and Sho-Glo when those are part of the horse's program.

Why a daily hoof supplement
Hoof quality is built over months, not days. A hoof grows out slowly, so a supplement that goes in with every meal does more than a fix you start when a crack shows up. A steady daily routine is the easiest way to keep the nutrients coming through the growing season and the wet months.
It is a good fit for a mature horse in steady work, or for a retired horse on a routine that is already set. Because it mixes into the regular ration, you do not need a separate feeding time, and it can sit right beside the grain bin.

- 800 to 1,200 lb body weight: 2 ounces daily.
- Greater than 1,200 lb body weight: 2½ ounces daily.
