A young animal on a bottle needs a nipple that feels natural and stays soft while it works. This Little Giant snap-on nipple is shaped for the tender mouths of lambs, kids, piglets, foals and other small livestock, so feeding stays calm and steady instead of turning into a fight.
The nipple is made from a special rubber formula that's soft and pliable and built to prolong its life. It measures 0.5 inch across and 3.5 inches long, and it fits Little Giant's 2-quart and 3-quart snap-on nursing bottles. Keep a spare on hand so a worn nipple never cuts a feeding round short.

Why a soft nipple matters on a bottle
A young animal learns quickly whether a nipple feels right. A stiff or misshapen nipple makes feeding slow and frustrating, and a frustrated lamb or kid may not take what it needs. A soft, natural shape keeps feeding moving, which is exactly what you want in the first weeks.
Worn nipples cause trouble too. Rubber that has gone sticky, soft through or torn is harder for a young animal to draw from. A fresh nipple costs far less than a feeding that drags.
It's the right nipple for a farm with small stock: a lamb at the barn door, kids on a bottle, a piglet that needs an extra feed or a foal that needs a supplement. Keep a spare in the feeding kit so you have one ready for the next round.

How to use it
Snap the nipple onto a compatible Little Giant nursing bottle and check the fit before every feeding. Wash it after each feed, and replace it when it softens, cracks or tears.
- Check the fit. Press the nipple onto the bottle until it seats, then tip the bottle to make sure it stays on.
- Test the feed. Check the temperature and flow on the back of your hand before the animal takes the bottle.
- Wash after each feed. Rinse the nipple and wash it in warm soapy water so milk doesn't dry inside it.
- Replace when worn. Swap the nipple when it's sticky, soft through, cracked or torn.
Good to know
- Keep a nipple with each bottle you use, so no feeding waits on a wash.
- Pair the nipple with a Little Giant snap-on nursing bottle from the same aisle. The bottle is sold separately.
- Warm the nipple in water before you fit it on. A warm, soft nipple seats more easily on the bottle.
