Mount a QuickJet body on square tubing

The TeeJet QJ111SQ is a plated-steel clamp that attaches a QuickJet nozzle body to square tubing on a dry spray boom. For these stocked variants, SKU 4601 is QJ111SQ-3/4 for 3/4-inch square tubing, while SKU 4602 is QJ111SQ-1 for 1-inch square tubing. Measure the outside width across the tube’s flat faces and match the selected clamp to that measurement. Each sale is one clamp, not a nozzle body or spray tip.

Secure the nozzle body at its mounting lug

The clamp uses two halves around the nozzle body’s mounting lug and the boom tube. Its job is mechanical: hold the body in place on the boom. The nozzle body carries the spray tip, while this clamp connects that body to the frame. Keeping those parts separate helps when building a parts order. A worn or missing clamp does not automatically mean the nozzle body also needs replacement; inspect the body and lug, then order the mounting hardware needed for that connection.

Keep square tubing distinct from round pipe

QJ111SQ belongs to TeeJet’s square-tube clamp family. TeeJet lists separate clamps for round pipe, so a clamp that matches a nominal pipe size may not seat around a square boom member. Check the actual boom construction before ordering rather than identifying a clamp by the nearby nozzle or pipe fitting. Flat tube faces provide the contact surfaces for this clamp style. If the sprayer uses a different clamp family, choose the matching part series rather than forcing this clamp into place.

Use the vari-spacing layout before tightening

The vari-spacing design allows the nozzle body to be positioned along the boom tube before the clamp is fixed. Lay out the body locations across the spray width first, then secure the clamp according to the sprayer’s assembly instructions. That order makes it easier to keep the row of bodies aligned and maintain the spacing chosen for the equipment. The clamp supports placement; it does not set nozzle angle or spray rate. Follow the sprayer instructions for assembly and tightening instead of guessing a torque value.

Replace only the connection hardware you need

When servicing an existing boom, check that the replacement clamp matches both the QJ body’s mounting lug and the boom’s tube shape. The clamp is sold as an individual part, so a replacement order can supply the connection hardware without adding another body or tip. Keep the clamp part number with the sprayer’s service notes; that makes a later replacement easier to identify. For a new boom layout, confirm the body family and tube geometry before ordering clamps, then position each body along the tube as the equipment plan requires.
