Its oval footprint is broader than a narrow utility tub, and its 18-inch height gives it a lower profile than some deeper stock tanks. Check both the approach route and final support area before moving it into place.

Drain plug is installed

The drain plug is installed on the KMT85. Plan its position so the plug can be reached and drained water can be directed away from paths or building foundations. Keep the tank on a firm, even base that supports the full bottom. A narrow rail or uneven block can leave part of the basin unsupported. Before filling, make sure the tank is level and the plug is seated; later access is easier if the drain end was considered at placement.

Use the capacity deliberately
