When a dog loses its sense of smell, it usually loses its appetite too. VetRx is made for that moment. It is a 100% all-natural veterinary aid for dogs and puppies, used to promote healthy upper respiratory function, and it can help encourage a dog to take in nourishment again. It is recommended for all breeds and can be used on dogs of any age, from the working dog on the place to the pup who just came home.
Keep a bottle in the house and another in the truck, so you are not hunting for it when a dog goes off his feed or a new pup comes home. One small bottle is an easy thing to keep on the shelf.

What it's for
A dog's nose and appetite are closely tied. When a dog can't smell its food, it often stops eating, and a dog that won't eat needs attention right away. VetRx gives you a way to support healthy upper airways and get a dog interested in a meal again while you work out what else might be going on.
Warming it first makes it easier to use on a squirming dog, and it is the step that keeps the routine simple. One bottle can serve the whole household: the old hound on the porch, the puppy in the kitchen and the farm dog who spends the day in the barn. Dogs of any breed can use it, so there is no need for a separate product for each one.

How to use it
Warm the bottle before every use. Stand it in a container of warm water for a few minutes, or warm it quickly over medium heat with the cap open. Always test the temperature before it goes near a dog.
- Warm the bottle and test the temperature.
- For an adult dog, apply 2 drops directly into each nostril. For a puppy, apply 1 drop.
- Repeat in 5 minutes.
- Repeat applications 3 to 4 times a day.
- If possible, isolate your dog and use VetRx in a warm water vaporizer, following the directions that come with the vaporizer.
- For ears, shake the bottle well, then apply by the drop or with a cotton swab, dampening the entire area.
- If scabs are present, don't dig them off. They should eventually be shaken off by the dog.
Good to know
- VetRx leaves an oily film on skin and fur. That is normal. It will not burn the skin or remove hair.
- Keep a box of cotton swabs with the bottle, so ear care is quick when a dog starts scratching.
- If a dog's breathing or appetite doesn't come back, a vet visit belongs in the plan.
